Objectives of the Global Digital Solidarity Fund

- reduce the digital divide
- put information and communication technologies (ICTs) at the service of development
- build a solidarity-based and inclusive information society.

Its intervention principle

The DSF intervenes in priority in the least advanced countries, by financing community-based development projects making use of ICTs.

Action

The Founding Texts of DSF

The DSF has been welcomed by over 150 countries and all IO (UN, EU, AU, ITU, WIPO, OIF, OIC, Pilot Group, ECOWAS, Group of 77,  Non-Aligned, Latin American Countries, etc.).

Our Vision

In September 2000, the Heads of State and Government gathered in New York for the United Nations Millennium Summit adopted the eight Millennium Development Goals, (...). The deadline set for attaining these goals was 2015.
