In its inception phase, the DSF is supported by the initial contributions of the 20 founding members (nation States, regions and provinces, cities and local governments, international agencies).  Each founding member has pledged a total amount of 300,000 euros, either in cash or in kind.  At 31st December 2005, the DSF is of 5’354’444 euros.

Funds collected since the City of Geneva decided to implement the « Geneva Principle » (1st January 2005) amount to several thousands euros.
